Context
The Defileul Jiului National Park Administration (RNP ROMSILVA) faces a major problem: their existing website was technically outdated and no longer met the needs of visitors. Information about the park, the thematic routes and the visiting rules were hard to find and presented in an unattractive way. A modern solution was urgently needed to enhance the unique beauty of the park and make it easier for visitors to access information.
Challenges
The main challenge was managing the sheer volume of information about the park. The Web Logistics team had to find a way together with the specialists from the Defileul Jiului National Park Administration to present all relevant details, including the rich biodiversity, the various thematic trails and the visitor regulations, in an organised and easy-to-navigate way. It was also essential that the new website was optimised for all devices to provide an optimal experience for users whether they were accessing the site from a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Solution
